Senior PHP Developer

Hi there! Let’s get acquainted! My name is Yana, and I’m a recruiter at Zeeks. Right now, I’m looking for a Senior PHP Developer who will be responsible for building reliable, high-performance, and scalable backend systems for our web applications.

Your future team: CTO, 2 QA Engineers, 2 Project Managers, 2 Front-end Developers, a DevOps Engineer, 3 Full-stack Developers, and 2 Designers.

What we expect from you:

• 6+ years of experience as a PHP Developer.
• Framework: Laravel.
• Popular CMS: WordPress, Statamic (Laravel).
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• APIs: REST, GraphQL.
• Caching: Redis, Memcached, Varnish.
• Microservices: Experience with RabbitMQ/Kafka.
• Development tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD.
• Visualization tools: UML diagrams, Miro.
• Security: OAuth2, JWT, CSRF, XSS, OWASP.
• Workflows: Agile/Scrum, Jira.
• Coding standards: PSR, CleanCode, SOLID, etc.
• Integrations: AWS, GCP, Cloudflare.
• English level: B1 or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with JAMStack, Node.js.
• Codebase and database query optimization.
• Highload experience.
• Familiarity with the Unix system console.

What you’ll be working on:

• Developing and maintaining web applications based on PHP 8.x using Laravel and popular CMS (WordPress, Statamic).
• Building REST and GraphQL APIs for frontend and service interactions.
• Working with microservices architecture.
• Optimizing performance and ensuring scalability.
• Implementing security and reliability standards.
• Integrating third-party services.
• Participating in DevOps processes.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring team members.
• Providing technical consultations and auditing web projects.
• Working with technical documentation.
