Senior Legal Officer
We are looking for a Senior Legal officer to help us grow our business on the international stage while ensuring compliance with legal regulations across multiple jurisdictions. You will also review the current processes of our team and suggest improvements.
Zeeks is an international product-based IT company focused on building and promoting websites for the iGaming industry. Our focus is on full site optimization, market and competitor research, affiliate marketing services, web development, and expanding our affiliate program.

Experience and skills required for the Senior Legal officer at Zeeks:
- A Master’s degree in Law;
- At least 5 years of experience in the legal field, including 2 years as an in-house lawyer in the IT/marketing niche;
- Proficiency in English (C1 or higher), with strong business writing skills in both Ukrainian and English;
- Confident use of work tools (G-Suite, Jira);
- Business-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal specialists and managers;
- Deep knowledge of contract law in international business, specifically in Digital Marketing, and Product IT;
- Strong expertise in intellectual property law and legal protection and management of assets in Digital Marketing (domains, websites);
- Knowledge of website compliance standards and experience working on website compliance matters;
- Experience working with financial institutions, opening bank and PSP accounts, handling KYC/KYB procedures, and understanding online payment regulations;
- Familiarity with key data protection standards (GDPR), with practical experience in policy creation and form development for different jurisdictions;
- Experience with international corporate structuring, tax planning, and working with foreign service providers;
- Ability to analyze legislation, draw conclusions, and implement them into the work process;
- Experience in identifying legal risks and implementing effective measures to mitigate them;
- Understanding of working with CFC (Controlled Foreign Companies).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in providing legal support for legal entities under Diia City residency;
- Experience using industry-specific legal databases
- Thorough understanding of iGaming regulation, with knowledge of key approaches and trends in this area across various jurisdictions;
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal support for the company’s daily operations;
- Monitoring, analyzing, and explaining key legislative provisions in jurisdictions where the company operates, particularly in iGaming regulation;
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulatory requirements, including reviewing websites for legal compliance;
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts and corporate documents;
- Conducting counterparty checks (CDD) and legal due diligence on various operational matters;
- Setting up and administering companies in foreign jurisdictions and interacting with registration agents and external advisors;
- Supporting the process of opening accounts in foreign banks and payment services, and reporting on CFC matters;
- Ensuring legal protection of assets, including domain names and intellectual property rights, and managing claims related to them;
- Providing legal support for onboarding investment projects;
- Offering legal assistance to shareholders on ad hoc projects;
- Overseeing the operations of the company’s Diia City residency and managing legal subcontractors;
- Systematizing and optimizing team business processes.
