We are looking for a Junior legal officer, to help us develop our business internationally in compliance with all legal regulations in different jurisdictions. As a part of our team, you will be able to develop your skills in the most popular areas of the IT industry – intellectual property, banking and corporate law, taxation and will have the opportunity to organize processes and manage projects independently.
Skills and experience we expect:
- at least 2 years of work experience, at least 1 year of experience in IT as a lawyer
- english language skills at B2 level and above (translation of documents, communication with banks, partners and service providers, drafting legal documents in English)
- have experience in contractual work, can analyze contractual risks and protect the interests of the company
- knowledge of legal standards for the websites: you can create documents for the websites, understand legal issues related to the operation of websites (personal data protection, intellectual property protection, etc.)
- have experience in conducting legal research (searching for information in open sources on the legal regulation of the company’s activities in certain jurisdictions, taxation, etc.) You can analyze information, anticipate risks and think through several scenarios in advance
- you can work with large amounts of data and use legal databases
- confidently use a PC and all basic tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- have a high level of communication and analytical skill
Will be an advantage:
- knowledge in the field of financial / banking law
- knowledge and experience in the field of intellectual property law
What tasks are waiting for you in our team:
- analysis of the legislation of foreign jurisdictions in the field of IGaming regulation
- perform KYC on bank accounts and searching for available payment solutions, analyze the terms of cooperation
- deal with claims/complaints for violation of intellectual property rights, phishing of project websites
- analyze company websites for their compliance with legal requirements (Privacy Policy, Cookies Notice, T&Cs), prepare legal documents for company websites
- ensure proper document management of the legal team
- provide legal advice to the internal teams of the company
- work with partners (determining the terms of cooperation, verification of partner brands and licenses, collecting and maintaining documentation on work with partners)
